Who we are is as important as what we do. And what we do is enjoy working with each other... continuing to learn from each other... continuing to
support each other... and continuing to trust each other as colleagues, friends, and family.

Some of our CREATACOR family members requested to share their stories with you so that you can get to know us better. Through their own words, you
will better understand the personalities and the people that personify CREATACOR.

When I think of my time at CREATACOR I think "This isn't work, this is fun!"

What's my favorite CREATACOR story? That's a difficult question to answer. I have so many stories that I could tell: from the 23-hour days working on the Seminole County Project, to the Boone, NC install that was a step back into history. There was the first LEGO install I helped with, that entailed dismantling the showroom in Enfield, CT. ... Driving it into Manhattan and then installing everything again into a new retail space. Basically, 40 hours of work in two days.

All of these stories are fun to remember andembedded in my brain forever. But my favorite story is the install of the GE Information Services User Group Forum in 2000. I'll leave out the messy parts, because like many event projects of this size and nature, there were a lot of challenges. But the main challenge and the most fun for me was the entire installation process. The challenge; there was an event already taking place in the large ballroom we had contracted for. Management of the venue had forgotten to tell us that a Brooks and Dunn concert had been added to the previous events agenda and the room would not be available until midnight. This was quite a surprise albeit our meeting opened at 7:00 AM the next morning. We immediately began to setup everything possible in the parking lot so that it could be moved in as soon as the room became available. The pace was fast as we had four strategic partners and about 30 contractors working with us to install video, lighting, and computer equipment. After working all night we opened on time and our customer was completely unaware of our challenges, which is the way we like it.

This was only my second install and I just remember that it did not feel like work, but rather I was having fun with the challenge. That day I decided I really wanted to build a career as part of the CREATACOR team because it took the whole team to get the job done that night. Over the next 12 years, I still get that enjoyment of the challenge and of being part of our team. We will always do whatever we can to get the job done for our customer.
